designjunction will join over 25 designer-maker shops at Oxo Tower Wharf, with the creative hub already playing home to renowned brands including Innermost, Black + Blum, Bodo Sperlein and many more. From 20 - 23 September, Oxo Tower Wharf will host major brand activations, exhibitions and experiential events.

Home to some of the UK’s most innovative and internationally renowned contemporary designers working in a wide range of disciplines from fashion, textiles and jewellery to glass, ceramics and interior design, the award-winning, landmark building is situated on the Riverside Walkway on London’s South Bank. Since Oxo Tower Wharf was refurbished in 1996, the building has gained a reputation as a key centre for contemporary designers and applied artists.

Black+Blum

Black+Blum are passionate about creating beautiful, original designs which are underpinned with functionality.

The award-winning functional homeware product designers will host a sample sale of their recently discontinued products, now design classics.

Innermost

British furniture and lighting brand Innermost will launch a custom colour service for some of their most popular lighting ranges and invite you to see the eagerly awaited Kepler, designed by Cohda for Innermost.

Bodo Sperlein Studio

Bodo Sperlein offer luxury homeware, from handmade ceramics to unique lighting and elegant furniture. With the belief that contemporary design can regenerate the use of traditional materials and craftsmanship skills, Bodo Sperlein has created collections using Mexican silver, Japanese fine bone china and solid wood, working with internationally-renowned brands.

Studio Fusion Gallery

Studio Fusion is a unique gallery showing contemporary jewellery and metal work by the best known UK and International makers will showcase the work of Rebecca Gouldson, an artist who creates artworks for interiors inspired by the built environment and the natural landscape.

 


Locomocean

Locomocean was launched in 1994 with an aim to create innovative and fun designs. Today, Locomocean are innovators in Neon, lighting and giftware specialists. Drop by to the new showroom to view their display of neon products, lighting and one-off pieces.

Wagumi

Award winning craftsman Kunimitsu Takatsuki is at the heart of the revival of Gobarashikki, a tradition in wood carving and lacquerwork from Okayama in south west Japan. During designjunction he will demonstrate the technique by carving classic bowl forms using a hand powered lathe at wagumi.


Skylark Galleries 2

The artists of Skylark Galleries invite you to take part in an engaging and immersive programme of activities; you can join a workshop, listen to an artist’s talk or get inspired and learn more about intriguing art processes.

JeDeCo

JeDeCo's resident designers are creating a piece of contemporary jewellery each, inspired by the theme of fluidity. With designers from diverse backgrounds and visual styles, this promises to be an interesting collage of interpretations. The Fluidity group collection will be launched in September, in JeDeCo's new riverside gallery (which was an inspiration to the theme) and and will be featured for the duration of designjunction.


Mikala Djorup

Mikala Djorup Jewellery will show a selection of work from talented Danish jewellery designers, based both in the UK and Denmark. Amongst others will be Tina Engell and Max Danger, both regular exhibitors at the prestigious jewellery event Goldsmiths’ Fair.
